AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT: NINA HAMZA

We’re thrilled to collaborate with Acclaimed author Nina Hamza. She has offered to donate copies of her two novels, Samira’s (Worst) Best Summer and Ahmed Aziz’s Epic Year. Both will be featured in our pilot libraries.

  • RLE had the amazing opportunity to interview Ms Hamza about her writing experiences and her advice for young readers. Read her responses here!

Author Q&A with Nina Hamza

"Seeing ourselves represented leads to a sense of belonging, and a sense of pride in our own heritage. That can be empowering.

Seeing diverse characters climb mountains, or sing in a band or win medals teaches us that these are things we can do.

Representation is inspiration" --Nina Hamza
